Susan Moore positions corporations and not-for-profit organizations in the market and government arenas through public affairs and communications programs — maximizing relationships with clients, partners, employees, government officials, allies, the media and other critical audiences.

Versatile Experience.

With experience in Corporate Communications (Public Affairs), Legal Affairs and Government Relations and a background in the private and public sectors, Susan is uniquely capable to see hidden challenges when dealing with diverse constituencies, successfully guide organizations through complex issues and, when necessary, form the right strategic team of associates to accomplish her client’s objectives.

Susan has worked in a wide array of industries, including technology, financial services, telecommunications, professional services, not-for-profit and consumer goods.

Solid Credentials.

Prior to joining Public Strategies, Inc., a strategic communications and public affairs consulting firm, in 1999 and serving as a Managing Director, she advised former Texas Lt. Governor Bob Bullock as his Executive Assistant (Chief of Staff) and General Counsel. She also served as a Parliamentarian of the Texas Senate and as Lt. Governor Bullock’s policy advisor on business regulation and tort reform. A licensed attorney, Susan previously held an active civil litigation and general practice.

Upon President George W. Bush’s nomination and confirmation by the U.S. Senate in 2004, Susan served as a member of the U.S. Delegation to the 2004-05 Session of the United Nations General Assembly. In her diplomatic role, she engaged in dialogue with U.S. government officials and foreign diplomats to affect international policy. In 2005 she envisioned and successfully led a conference on United Nations reform and the United Nations' role in digital divide, which was attended by 300 business and civic leaders, international diplomats, NGO’s, government officials and members of the media.

Leadership and Integrity.

Susan is active on the Advisory Board to St. Edward’s University School of Behavioral and Social Sciences and was recently tapped to join the statewide Board of Directors of The Texas Lyceum. She has also served on the Leadership Council for the World Congress on Information Technology 2006 and in Leadership Texas, a statewide program honoring women for professional and community leadership. Susan is a graduate of Baylor University School of Law and the University of Texas at Arlington, magna cum laude.
